'Til The Day I Die Lyrics

I wanna tell you
I wanna tell you just how I feel
I will show you
I will show you my love is real, yeah
Nobody's ever gonna love you like I am
You never can deny that
Nobody's ever gonna hold you like I am
I'll love you 'til I die, until the day I die
I said, “Forever"
I said, “Forever" and I mean it
I made a promise
And I intend to always keep it
Nobody's ever gonna love you like I am
You never can deny that
Nobody's ever gonna hold you like I am
I'll love you 'til I die, until the day I die
Forever is so far beyond the reach of my mind
So I'll give all I have, my heart, my love, my life

Nobody's ever gonna love you like I am
You never can deny that
Nobody's ever gonna hold you like I am
I'll love you 'til I die
Nobody's ever gonna love you like I am
You never can deny that
Nobody's ever gonna hold you like I am
I'll love you 'til I die, until the day I die
Until the day I die
Until the day I die
Until the day I die

The Cats And The Fiddle was one of the pre-eminent, pioneering R&B vocal groups of 1930s, and its place in the history of this style is assured. It was 1937 when the group formed, amalgamating two earlier, separate bands: the "Harlem Harmony Hounds," led by singer Austin Powell, and the aspiring trio of Jimmie Henderson, Chuck Barksdale and Ernie Price. The latter, Chicago-based group needed a lead singer, and Powell slipped into this role perfectly, so that the initial four-part vocal-instrumental line-up was born.
