Time To Talk Lyrics

"Anything for you." Is what you told me,
The day I sat there with you.
So I know nothing lasts forever,
When will we realize it's gone?"Anything for you." Is what you told me,
The day I sat there with you.
Do we understand that words were not enough?
You said to me that this would last forever...Why did we rely on the time when I, the time when I say I cant live without you?
It's all over now-
Why you?
You walked away-
Why you?You said that I-
You said that I don't want to work it out,
You know that I tried.
I feel like sometimes we're just wasting time. Why did we rely on the time when I- I-
The time when I said I can't live without you?You say to me that things have changed,
I look in your eyes and I know that things will remain the same.
You said that I, I...that I follow you here-
When we, we've lost it all again.

In 1981, the Esser brothers, Lester and Allen, formed Primitive Romance from the ashes of Tampa Florida’s The Strait Jackets. The Essers had cut their teeth in the Florida new music/punk scene since 1976.
Having grown used to the nonstop schedule of The Strait Jackets, the Essers lost no time in focusing their energy into Primitive Romance, writing two full song sets within three weeks. Randy Barn...well from Tampa-based band Not Much was recruited as bass player.
