Tin Man Lyrics

I don't know why I do what I
I don't know why I do what I do
It feels so good to meI guess that's why I do what I
I guess that's why I do what I do
'Cause it feels good to me
And it's right there for the takingWith a hammer and a nail a man left to die
With a hammer and a nail I eat this coconut
Yeah, it's trueI'm looking at the sunset wondering, 'So what?'
The Tinman's got nothing on me
Heart, I hope you wake up soonI don't know why I feel like I should change
I don't know why what I need and what I want
Can't be the same things, ohI don't know why I don't miss my friends
I don't know why I cannot comprehend
How special love can be
And it's right there for the takingWith a hammer and a nail a man left to die
With a hammer and a nail I eat this coconut
Yeah, it's goodI'm looking at the sunset wondering, 'So what?'
The Tinman's got nothing on me

Heart, I hope you wake up soonThe Tinman's got nothing on meWith a hammer and a nail a man left to die
With a hammer and a nail I eat this coconut
Yeah, it's goodI'm looking at the sunset wondering, 'So what?'
The Tinman's got nothing on me
Heart, I hope you wake up soon, please

Hailing from the microscopic, isolated Shetland island of Fair Isle, Inge Thomson grew up in an enormous world of music. Her family are prominent exponents of folk and traditional music and she became involved with a piano keyed accordion at an early age, which eventually led on to even less socially acceptable instruments. Inge cut her gigging teeth with folk-pop quintet Drop The Box who toured steadily through the 1990s.
