He studied piano at the British Royal Music School at an early age. In 1991, he moved with family to Romania, and in 1996, he started producing electronic music with his brother, after building their own sound system in their room. He started several projects: The GrooveOholics, which was Deep House, Funky and Disco House based project. In 2000, he had his first live gig. That's also when he started his career as a composer and audio producer in advertising, composing for hundreds of radio and tv commercials for the last 12 years. In 2002, he started Sunday People with his brother. A downtempo, lounge and chillout project which brought them on the international market with their releases and remixes for famous musicians like Billy Holiday and Bryan Ferry.
In 2009, he started his solo project Akim Hash. A complex electronic music project, where everything is 100% handmade by a music lover, bringing his sound to a genuine level. Thats's when he started remixing for the likes of Data Life, Nick Van Gelder and the Coolness, and opened gigs for Ony Ayhun, Saul Williams, Golden Bug, Them & Us and Ghostpoet. In 2012, he moved to Berlin. Akim Hash is self-didactic musician, he learned to play the guitar by him self and he's constantly thinking about music, sounds and ways to influence the human body and spirit, therefor, one of his projects is heading towards healing through vibrations. Akim Hash's music is constantly exploring the mystery of rhythm, sound design and vocal processing, making the journey almost chilled, with progressive filled sound backed with a cool synth that kicks in to a charged deep drive. It slowly builds to a release of total fresh and inspiring vibes that spiral around your head.
Akim ́s aim is to create a environment where one can dance, or close his/her eyes and listen. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
