To See My Angel Cry (Re-recorded In Stereo) Lyrics

See her there, see her crying she thinks she loves him so
She don't know how much it hurts me to hear her beg him not to go
If she were mine again I'd never let the tears fill her eyes
She don't know how much it hurts me to see an angel cryOnce she built her world around me and like a fool I tore it down
And she begged me not to leave her just the way she's doing now
Now she's begging to another with that same hurt in her eyes
She don't know how much it hurts me to see an angel cryI didn't know how much I loved her 'til she turned and walked away
I didn't know how much I'd hurt her 'til I say her here this way
If she were mine I'd hold her forever and dry the tears from her eyesShe don't know how much it hurts me to see my angel cry
She don't know how much it hurts me to see my angel cry

Conway Twitty (1 September 1933 – 5 June 1993), born Harold Lloyd Jenkins, was one of the United States' most successful artists of the 20th century. Twitty had the most singles (55) reach Number 1 on various national music charts. Conway Twitty's across the board totals were greater than that of Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, the Beatles, and Garth Brooks. Most notably known as a country music singer, Twitty also enjoyed success in early Rock and Roll, R&B, and Pop music (among other genres). He teamed up with Loretta Lynn to form one of country music's most successful business partnerships.
