Neonethy(aka Nene) started learning classical piano at the age of 6, and by age 10 had become interested in rock n' roll and was writing songs for the guitar and performing in bands. Moving to Tokyo at the age of 20, Neonethy sought to add her unique musical style to the city’s ever-changing DJ scene. In Tokyo, her focus shifted from mainly rock, to more electric and techno, taking off from there.
