Torch - (Young) Pioneers

Active in Richmond, VA from 1994-1999, the Young Pioneers single-handedly spearheaded the current folk-punk movement, heavily influencing bands like Hi ho sixshooter, Against Me! (they are mentioned in Against Me!'s song "We Laugh at Danger (and Break All the Rules)") and Defiance, Ohio. Featured former members of Born Against, Universal Order Of Armageddon, Avail and future members of the Wrangler Brutes.
