Touch A Four Leaf Clover Lyrics

Touch a four leaf clover
Maybe you'll get over
Try and luck might
Come your wayHere I am on a cloud if you want me
Take the chance cry, love, out loud
As I drift through the sky
Shooting Cupid's loving arrow
You just might tryBut don't miss me
Take your time and aim
'Cause you've only got one chance
I think you better touchTouch a four leaf clover
Maybe you'll get over
Touch a four leaf clover
And luck might get you overTouch a four leaf clover
Maybe you'll get over
Try and luck might
Come your wayLike the wind, I am free
Going places, being things I wanna be

To settle down is, oh, so hard
But I will grant you that one chance
Pick the right cardBut don't miss it
Take your time, pick it
You only got one chance
You'd betterTouch a four leaf clover
Maybe you'll get over
Touch a four leaf clover
Luck might get you overI'm free as a bird, yeah, yeah, yeah
To catch me is to catch a leprechaun
Hold on to your rabbit's foot
And I just might be yours forever
But you'd betterTouch a four leaf clover
Maybe you'll get over
Try and luck might
Come your wayTouch a four leaf clover
You might get lucky
You might just get me
Just might get luckyTouch a four leaf clover
You never know
Maybe you'll get over
Try and luck might come your wayTouch a four leaf clover
You might get lucky
You just might get me, yeah, oh
Just might get luckyTouch a four leaf clover
(Touch a four leaf clover)
You never know
(Touch a four leaf clover)
Maybe you'll get overCome on, baby, touch it
(Touch a four leaf clover)
'Cause you just might do it
So come on and touch it
(Touch a four leaf clover)Touch that four leaf clover
(Maybe you'll get over)
Ooh, babe, oh babe
(Touch a four leaf clover)
Just might get lucky
(Touch a four leaf clover)

Atlantic Starr was among the top urban contemporary acts of the '80s and fared well in the adult contemporary market as well, but their roots were '70s soul and funk. The East Coast outfit was formed in White Plains, NY, in 1976 by three brothers: lead singer/guitarist David Lewis, lead singer/keyboardist Wayne Lewis, and trombonist/percussionist Jonathan Lewis. After the Lewis Brothers hired lead singer Sharon Bryant, trumpeter William Sudderth, saxophonist Damon Rentie (who was replaced by Koran Daniels in 1981), bassist Clifford Archer, drummer Porter Carroll, Jr.
