Touch The Sky Lyrics

I don't know
How long it takes
All I know is that I can't wait much longer
And I don't know
What it takes
All I hope is that the pain will only make us stronger (stronger)Is it the air in my breath that makes you afraid then I'm about to say what I never should say...
To someone just like you
Who always gets confused
Between love and abuse
And all the people you useOr someone just like me
Who can't go to sleep
Without fallin' in love
Without playin' for keeps
And we can touch the sky
If we only tryAnd I don't know
Why the water breaks
Or the wind in my hair makes me feel like I'm someone strongerAnd I don't know
Why we make mistakes

All I can hope is that the pain will only make us stronger (stronger)Is it the air in my breath that makes you afraid then I'm about to say what I never should say..
To someone just like you
Who always gets confused
Between love and abuse
And all the people you useOr someone just like me
Who can't go to sleep
Without fallin' in love
Without playin' for keeps
And we can touch the sky
If we only tryIs it the air in my breath that makes you afraid then I'm about to say what I never should say...
To someone just like you
Who always gets confused
Between love and abuse
And all the people you useOr someone just like me
Who can't go to sleep
Without fallin' in love
Without playin' for keeps
And we can touch the sky
If we only tryYeah you can touch the sky
And break down and cry

Socialburn originated in the mid-'90s around high-school pals Neil Alday (vocals/guitar), Dusty Price (bass), and Brandon Bittner (drums). After forming on the fly in their tiny central Florida hometown, the group expanded into the scene in nearby Tallahassee. Listeners took a liking to their straightforward post-grunge growl, and Socialburn was soon a hit at local radio. By 2000, guitarist Chris Cobb had been added and a self-released CD had dropped. SB branched out with gigs in Jacksonville and Orlando, hoping to generate label interest in an area already buzzing with the success of Creed.
