Trail of Flames Lyrics

Soaked in the silver rain, they rode through the woods
Crossed the mountains and crossed the rivers so deep
They came at dawn with fire and steel
Left at dusk, a trail of flamesReach up high to touch the sky
Brothers in arms, side by side
In defiance we unite for the glory and victory
And for times soon to beThe trail of flames will be our harbinger
Let the fire mark our words
The trail of flames, our messenger on black wings
Let our answer be heardRide on for me my friends and fear no more
Ride for freedom and ride for the truth
We'll come at dawn again with fire and steel
Leaving nothing but ashes behindReach up high to touch the sky
Brothers in arms, side by side
In defiance we unite for the glory and victory
And for times soon to beThe trail of flames will be our harbinger
Let the fire mark our words
The trail of flames, our messenger on black wings

Let our answer be heardAlthough we're bonded by blood
We're divided by the Lord's pride
Dishonoring we will not stand
Nor will God who stands by our sideReach up high to touch the sky
Brothers in arms, side by side
In defiance we unite for the glory and victory
And for times soon to beThe trail of flames will be our harbinger
Let the fire mark our words
The trail of flames, our messenger on black wings
Let our answer be heardThe trail of flames will be our harbinger
Let the fire mark our words
The trail of flames, our messenger on black wings
Let our answer be heard

There are two artists bearing the name Falconer: 1) Falconer is Stefan Weinerhall's (former guitarist of Mithotyn) Swedish power metal project, with strong folk influences, aimed at being similar to Mithotyn, but (in contrast to typical harsh vocal-ed folk metal/viking metal) with clean vocals. Created in May 1999, the project initially started unnamed. Their self-titled debut album Falconer was released in March 2001.
