Founded in Lima - Peru in the mid 80's, M.A.S.A.C.R.E is nowadays considered one of the most representative metal bands in South America. From their first album "Sin piedad" ("No Mercy") (1988), released in Venezuela, to the worldwide acclaimed "En Pie De Guerra" ("On The Warpath") (2004), produced by Germán Villacorta - well known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, Rage Against the Machine - M.A.S.A.C.R.E remains one of the most powerful live acts around, having shared the stage with Quiet Riot, Paul Di'anno, Transmetal, Criminal and Rata Blanca, among others.
