Troubled Dreams Lyrics

Troubled dreams of a wandering nomad
Damned to be all by myself
I traveled far following bright stars
Through the endless desert sandsStarring off into the sky, down on myself
Loneliness brings my demise, oh what a nightmare
Here we goLeave me be, why must I please them
When I can't even please myself
Deep in thoughts but I still feel so
Lost in endless despairStarring off into the sky, down on myself
Loneliness brings my demise, oh what a nightmare
Yeah here we goAs you soon realize
The night's so black I feel blind
Should I keep wandering on
On and on and onThere's just one thing you should know
I can't take it no more
Two wrongs don't make it right or wrong
I can't take it and in the end you will find me a peace of mindForever lost, severing my thoughts
From the dream I must seek

It's time to end this aggravation
The nomad spirit lives in meStarring off into the sky, down on myself
Loneliness brings my demise, oh what a nightmare
Yeah here we goAs you soon realize
The night's so black, I feel blind
Should I keep wandering on
On and on and onThere's just one thing you should know
I can't take it no more
Two wrongs don't make it right or wrong
I can't take it and in the end you will find me a peace of mind

Testament was one of the first thrash metal bands to emerge from the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1980s. Originally formed as 'Legacy' in 1983 by founding members Eric Peterson (rhythm guitar), Derrick Ramirez (guitar) and Louie Clemente (drums), the line-up included vocalist Steve Souza and Greg Christian (bass). Ramirez was later replaced by wunderkind Alex Skolnick (lead guitar). Souza soon departed to join Exodus and suggested that the towering Chuck Billy take over as frontman(and was later run over by a bus).
