Trying to Live My Life Without You Lyrics

(hammer/frauenberger)I smoke five packs of cigarettes a day
It was the hardest thing to put them away
I drink four-five bottles of wine
I had a glass in my hand all the timeThought breakin' those habits was hard to do
Not compared with the changes you put me throughTryin' to live my life without you baby
It's the hardest thing I'll ever do
Tryin' to forget the love we once shared
It's the hardest burden I'll ever bearI got the worst reputation around
Chasing all the women in town
I thought changing my bad livin' was hard to do
But the hardest habit baby, was loving you
I'll done all the things that I'll had to do
It's gonna take a miracle to get over youTryin' to live my life without you baby
It's the hardest thing I'll ever do
Tryin' to forget the love we once shared
It's the hardest burden I'll ever bear- guitar break -I smoke five packs of cigarettes a day
It was the hardest thing to put them away
I drink four-five bottles of wine

I had a glass in my hand all the timeThought breakin' those habits was hard to do
Not compared with the changes that you put me throughTryin' to live my life without you baby
It's the hardest thing I'll ever do
Tryin' to forget the love we once shared
It's the hardest burden I'll ever bearTryin' to live my life without you baby
It's the hardest thing I'll ever do
Tryin' to forget the love we once shared
It's the hardest burden I'll ever bear
(repeat to fade)

Dr. Feelgood are a British pub rock band, formed in 1971. The classic line-up included Lee Brilleaux (b. 1953, d. 7 April 1994; vocals/harmonica), Wilko Johnson (b. John Wilkinson, 1947; guitar), John B. Sparks (b. 1953; bass) and John 'The Big Figure' Martin (drums). Initially based in Canvey Island, Essex, on the Thames estuary, Dr. Feelgood broke into the London circuit in 1974. Brilleaux's menacing personality complemented Johnson's propulsive, jerky stage manner, while the guitarist's staccato style dominated the group's idiosyncratic brand of angular rhythm and blues.
