Tuesday Morning Lyrics

Too many sad days
Too many Tuesday mornings
I thought of you today
I wished it was yesterday morning
I thought of you today
And I dreamt you were dressed in mourning
But I knew that you
With your heart beating
And your eyes shining
Would be dreaming of me
Lying with you
On a Tuesday morning
I fell through the window
And I found that I was still breathing
I thought of tomorrow
And the fear that you might leave me
I thought of tomorrow
And I wished it was Monday evening

But I knew that you
With your heart beating
And your eyes shining
Would be dreaming of me
Lying with you
On a Tuesday morning
Turn your face from me
I will cover myself with sorrow
Bring Hell down upon me
I will surrender my heart to sorrow
Bring Hell down upon me
And I will say goodbye tomorrow
But I know that you
With your heart beating
And your eyes shining
Would be dreaming of me
Lying with you
On a Tuesday morning

Uncle Fritz is just one of the alter egos belonging to 24 year-old Fraser Stewart, the talented painter and musician hailing from the Scottish city of Dundee.

Since releasing his debut LP, Nine Songs through the Pet Piranha Records label in 2005, Uncle Fritz's music has been met with critical acclaim from the Scottish underground scene and through appearances at Aberdeen's GO North and Glasgow's Musicworks festivals...

...plus sharing line-ups with the likes of Scottish victory rockers Laeto, the folky musings of Foxface, fellow Dundonians The Hazey Janes, U.S.A artists Thomas Traux, Son Of Dave, Jana Hunter and Viking Moses, Otterley, Frank Turner (ex Million Dead), Hobotalk to name but a few.

He has cemented himself as an accomplished and gifted performer in the live arena. In addition to this he also plays bass in the angular, power trio, Alamos and fronts hardcore metallers, Perineum.

Having always been a fascinated by the nastier things in life, the songs of Uncle Fritz focus upon such subject matters as murder, hate, drug addiction, isolation, physical violence, even vampires but are all delievered in beautifully delicate melodies, creating a intimate and somewhat, chilling atmosphere for the listener.

The follow-up album, Field Reports is released Nov 2006 and will be available from shows and through the on-line shop at www.petpiranha.com. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
