Twins - The Beatings

Indie/Punk/Noise/Bummer-Core from Boston. They've been compared to Pixies, Superchunk, Sonic Youth, Husker Du, etc.... but more accurately, they sound like The Beatings. In their own words.... "Once society is broken down and rebuilt, the prophets of yesteryear will be discussed in whispers; Springsteen, Richman, BTO. Field hollers replaced by anthems. Beer soaked rags, hanging from bloated bodies, providing armor against the construction of our oppressors. We are the flare gun of youth. We encourage indulgence in our vices, and we encourage the children to indulge as well.
