Twist and Shout Lyrics

You've got a lot of
Things to say about the
Big world
High skies so youWalk a little in a
Long mile to
Sure your eyes can see the
Right sightsI see a
Pale girl in a
Blue room with a
Pink dress and a
Wide smile, I see aPale girl in a
Blue room with a
Pink dress and a
Wide smileYou've got a little
Way to go before you
Find the knowledge that you're
Searching for, so you'llTurn the big world
Upside down to

Find the things that you
Never wantedI see a
Pale girl in a
Blue room with a
Pink dress and a
Wide smile, I need aPink smile on a
Dark night from the
Right girl to be
Sure it's rightYou've got three million things to get mad about
Another hundred things to get glad about
Junk food the whole world over's good as standing 'round
So baby twist and shout, baby
Find out baby, find out baby, find out babySo it's April and the
Things you say don't
Seem as certain as on
Hogmanay when weKissed at midnight and a
Wee wee bell had
Gave me courage for my
My heart to tellI see a
Pale girl in a
Blue room with a
Pink dress and a
Wide smile, I need aPink smile on a
Dark night from the
Right girl to be
Sure it's rightI see a
Pale girl in a
Blue room with a
Pink dress and a
Wide smile, I need aPink smile on a
Dark night from the
Right girl to be
Sure it's rightYou need the right girl
You need the right girl
Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on babyYou need the right girl
I'm working on a
You need the right girl
Twist and shout
Come on, come on baby

Deacon Blue is a Scottish pop band formed in Glasgow in 1985. Their name came from the title of the Steely Dan song "Deacon Blues". Success came for the band in 1989 when their second studio album, When The World Knows Your Name, topped the UK Album Charts. The album included "Real Gone Kid" which became their first UK top ten single. After releasing further albums in 1991 and 1993, they split up in 1994. Five years later, in 1999, the band held a reunion gig and this led to the album, Walking Back Home. Since then they have released Homesick (2001) and The Hipsters (2012).
