Two Timin' Two Stepper Lyrics

He tells his wife he's going back to work
To finish something he's left undone
And like a fool she believes every word
The door slams and he's on the runTo that other side of town
Where the music's turned up and the lights are turned downHe's a two timin' two stepper
Lookin' for a one-night stand
Slidin' on the dance floor
Slippin' off his wedding bandHe'll waltz into the heart
Of every pretty girl he can
Ooh, he's a two timin' two stepper
Lookin' for a one-night standEverybody in town knows his name
They know his wife and they know his game
But he continues to play it just the same
'Cause he's a fool and he has no shameBut he always seems to find
Somebody new to believe his linesHe's a two timin' two stepper
Lookin' for a one-night stand
Slidin' on the dance floor
Slippin' off his wedding bandHe'll waltz into the heart

Of every pretty girl he can
Ooo, he's a two timin' two stepper
Lookin' for a one-night standHe'll keep dancin' and foolin' around
Till the walls around him come a-tumblin' downHe's a two timin' two stepper
Lookin' for a one-night stand
Slidin' an the dance floor
Slippin' off his wedding bandAnd he'll waltz into the heart
Of every pretty girl he can
Ooh, he's a two timin' two stepper
Lookin' for a one-night standHe's a two timin' two stepper
Lookin' for a one-night stand

Conway Twitty (1 September 1933 – 5 June 1993), born Harold Lloyd Jenkins, was one of the United States' most successful artists of the 20th century. Twitty had the most singles (55) reach Number 1 on various national music charts. Conway Twitty's across the board totals were greater than that of Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, the Beatles, and Garth Brooks. Most notably known as a country music singer, Twitty also enjoyed success in early Rock and Roll, R&B, and Pop music (among other genres). He teamed up with Loretta Lynn to form one of country music's most successful business partnerships.
