Ugly Heart Lyrics

Maybe I'm just crazy
Maybe I'm a fool
Maybe I don't know how to love
But maybe I do
Maybe you know more then me
But this much is true
This little heart and brain of mine say,
We're through with you!
And I wonder does it blow your mind,
That I'm leaving you far behind
I wonder does it stop your heart
To know you're not my sunshine anymoreOk you're pretty, your face is a work of art
Your smile could light up New York City after dark,
Ok you're cover boy pretty stamped with a beauty mark,
But it's such a pity, a boy so pretty
With an ugly heartMaybe you'll get married and she will kiss your feet
While I give all my rides away, I won't lose no sleep
Maybe on your honeymoon, you'll think of me

But if you don't, won't shed a tear, yeah I can guarantee
And I wonder does it blow your mind,
That I'm leaving you far behind
I wonder does it stop your heart
To know you're not my sunshine anymoreOk you're pretty, your face is a work of art
Your smile could light up New York City after dark,
Ok you're cover boy pretty stamped with a beauty mark,
But it's such a pity, a boy so pretty
With an ugly heartOk you're pretty, your face is a work of art
Your smile could probably light up New York after dark
Ok you're cover boy pretty stamped with a beauty mark,
But it's such a pity, a boy so pretty
With an ugly heart, an ugly heart
SoOk you're pretty, your face is a work of art
Your smile could light up New York City after dark,
Ok you're cover boy pretty stamped with a beauty mark,
But it's such a pity, a boy so pretty
With an ugly heartOk you're pretty, your face is a work of art
Your smile could light up New York City after dark,
Ok you're cover boy pretty stamped with a beauty mark,
But it's such a pity, a boy so pretty
With an ugly heart

Gingerpig… It starts with a Hammond-organ. Such an ultimate rock instrument should be accompanied by a band, right? That’s also what Gorefest-guitarist Boudewijn Bonebakker thought when he started the band Gingerpig at the end of 2008. Not only to justify the purchase of a Hammond, but also to create rockmusic in peace and freedom. “My philosophy is that I’m able now to make real music without too many restrictions. Not as a product, produced with protocols, to please a specific target group. I want to make music in an honest, organic and human way and as a real band.
