Undignified Lyrics

Swollen eyes
No better to let you see them now
My wasted hearts
Will never learn to drive the demon downWhen you love the devil
You sell your soul
And it's hard to make him go
Undignified I am tonightSo give me false hope and promise me you'll try to
Redeem yourself for the hundredth time
Lie to me if you must, my dear
Give me a reason to have you hereGiving false hope allows me to still believe
In this powerful love that's consuming me
I'm hooked on a drug that steals your pride
It's hard not to seem so undignifiedIt terrifies me
To think I'm not the only one
You'd be surprised
How much I cry when you are goneWhen your angel's the devil
Your church is a tomb
But I need to be with you

I'm undignified enough for twoSo give me false hope and promise me you'll try to
Redeem yourself for the hundredth time
Lie to me if you must, my dear
Give me a reason to have you hereGiving false hope allows me to still believe
In this powerful love that's consuming me
I'm hooked on a drug that steals your pride
It's hard not to seem so undignifiedI'm addicted to the pain
And pleasure you give
That's not how I wanna live
Controlled by youSo give me false hope and promise me you'll try to
Redeem yourself for the hundredth time
Lie to me if you must, my dear
Give me a reason to have you hereGiving false hope allows me to still believe
In this powerful love that's consuming me
I'm hooked on a drug that steals your pride
It's hard not to seem so undignified

Soulstorm was formed in May of 1991 by Nick Sagias (Bass/Vocals). Nick had just disbanded his previous band Overthrow and played in Holland’s Pestilence before realizing he needed to do something new and exciting. Soulstorm were one of the early underground pioneers in a wave of death metal with industrial overtones, sounding like a cross between Swans, Godflesh, Celtic Frost and Obituary. The band quickly recorded the “Control” demo (Epidemic, 1991). Four crushing songs, sounding like no other, quickly established the band as a force in the extreme metal music scene.
