Unleashing The Bloodthirsty Lyrics

Dormancy
Spirits await rebirth
From their sleep
They will soon awakeRestless dead
Catching the whiff of hate
Blood they anticipate
They will soon drinkMurderers
Subconscious attraction
On their graves
Blood will now spillAncient bones
Reform in grounds below
Born, as the blood will flow
Killing is all they knowBlood
They live, they thirst
Blood
CoalescePieces become a whole
For their strength
Blood is absorbed

RancorousAeons of building rage
Death an immortal cage
Now they are freed
Livid beastsRising now for revenge
From the past
Hate comes alive
TenebrousRestruct evil ones
The demons will come
Cruelty has just begunBlood
They live, they thirst
Blood, bloodFirst one that they find
Attack the mortal
Claws tear at his face
Pull the flesh from boneDecapitate the man
They hold his head aloft
Headless body slumps
The blood is gushing outScreaming victims fall
Repulsive beasts attack
Gore pours from the torso
Hellish creatures stabOrgans, grisly trophies
Rewards for their rage
Blood drips from their jaws
They disembowel the corpseKill with speed
Victims bleed
Wretched souls
Headless on polesSavage thirst
Vessels burst
Torn apart
Eat the heartVengeance taking form
Endless hatred for the living
Plundering the world
Paroxysm of the damnedRapture of their rage
Euphoria from butchery
A dark world will eclipse all life
Barbaric ways forever reignBlood
They live, they thirst

Formed in Buffalo, NY in 1988, Cannibal Corpse helped found, manipulate and transcend the very boundaries of death metal beginning with the scandalously controversial debut, Eaten Back To Life. Raising the eyebrows of inquisitive metal fans and incensed parents and politicians, the record - produced by Scott Burns at the now renowned Morrisound Studios - was more extreme and confrontational than anything the Death Metal genre had ever known.
