Unreal Lyrics

Separate your mind
Overcome in time
I'm taking what is mine
Tenemos que pelear
Nothing is all, I thought I was there
I'm finding myself going nowhere
Is this a mistake?
I cannot relate to what is fake
Is this what I get for learning to speak?
For opening eyes and digging in deep?
Is this what I get for being reborn from the norm?
I don't want to shine; light will make us blind
I don't want to feel unreal
What have I become, born under the sun?
Planets will converge for you.

I'll try to break you!
I'll try to break you!
I'll try to break you!
What would it take to not look away?
To open my eyes and stare in the face
To learn from what's real
I'm trying to deal, but it's worthless:
Is this what I get for learning to speak?
For opening eyes and digging in deep?
Is this what I get for being reborn from the norm?
I don't want to shine; light will make us blind
I don't want to feel unreal
What have I become, born under the sun?
Planets will converge for you
Pushing and grinding is twisting my mind frame
El tempo que pesa nos tumba la mesa
why ahora que es nuestro, mi vida te apuesto,
bet my life!
I don't want to shine; light will make us blind
I don't want to feel unreal
What have I become, born under the sun?
Planets will converge for you
I don't want to feel!
I don't want to feel!
I don't want to feel!
Unreal

Belka and Strelka are the first living things from earth to travel into space and make it back alive, so to celebrate they committed the music they wrote on the journey to a tape back at base. Sorry it's taken so long to make it available but they were waiting for Malicious Damage to reform after a long deserved break. In the meantime they hitched a few rides with The Orb, Jimmy Cauty and any other nefarious travellers they could find without undue prejudice against weightlessness (Transit Kings all, but that's another story.) Any useful influences were fed back to their computers. Lately, user friendly operating systems made a lot of the original work obsolete because any Yuri, Oleg or Anatoli could produce the same sounds, so they went back to their old fashioned instruments. Holed up in a disused projector room where the Ealing Comedies were originally dubbed, they unashamedly plundered a latent partiality to jazz, dub, hip hop and dance. The loot was infused with the detritus of their current day jobs in scoring. Resulting reminiscences on previous extra-planetary adventures became "Tales from the Projector Room". Available from Malicious Damage Records. Talented artists, some of them from places the dogs have only seen from space, are currently amassing a body of work to accompany the music.
