İbrahim Erkal is a singer from Turkey but is of Kurdish Origin, His first Album "Tutku" was recorded in 1993 and has recorded 10 albums in total last one in 2008. Ibrahim has also stared in two TV series in the mid 1990's one was called "Sırılsıklam" the other also a movie of the same title was called "Canısı". The music has a typical Turkish popular music sound. Another intresting fact about Ibrahim is that he also wrote an autobiography which translates as "i did not love you this Fame" original title "Ben Bu Şöhreti Sevmedim".
