Valiant Lyrics

There's a special place inside my skull
Where your DNA it codes my cerebrum
In full stuttering and drooling
My shredded throat will try to sing for you
What do you say? Would you marry me today?
The moon would gush all inside out
And my nightmares would go away
What do you say? Would you devote yourself today?
Like riding out a sinking ship as it lowers into the bay
Please stay.
The blood collects and flushes out your cheek bones
I've got this secret garden and you are the only one who knows
I'm stuttering and drooling
My shredded throat will try to sing for you
What do you say? Would you marry me today?

The moon would gush all inside out
And my nightmares would go away
What do you say? Would you devote yourself today?
Like riding out a sinking ship as it lowers into the bay
Please.
I'm cutting ties with all the jealous zombies
I need to feel your warm body on me
When the sun goes down and the shadows grow
Just trust in us and forever know
Please keep holding on to me

Hailing from the heart of the Midwest, The Sun and The Sea is an American indie rock band from St. Louis, Mo. Formed in 2011, their sound can be described as an ambient blend of indie rock laced with an electronic infrastructure. TSATS consists of Tim Moore, Chris Rhein, and Max Sauer. The Sun and The Sea’s full-length album American Empire comes out July 29th.

When The Graduate disbanded we decided that we still wanted to keep writing music together. These seven songs are all instrumental demos that were recorded by us over the course of the past several months. Any money that is donated will go back into us producing more music. Currently, we have a few other projects in the works as well, but the four of us plan to keep making music together. - from the bands bandcamp profile
