I have met him personally many times and what makes him better is his Humility apart from his amazing musical talents.
Roop Kumar shot to fame with his song "Sandese aatein hain.." from Border with Sonu Nigam for which both of them bagged a National Award.He was noticed & appalauded though for his song "Mein teraa aashiq hoon..." from sanjay dutt, Sridevi starrer "Gumraah". His music albums like Mitwaa,Vaada were extremely successful and he has also proven himself as a Music Director with films like Zeher.
