Veins Lyrics

For days and days
We let this pass straight through our hands
The slipping thoughts of how we used to taste
So take our love and leave me like an open chest
For months you'll live to sink into your sins
What have you become, love
What have you become
Oh-oh, you take what I need to live
You crawl into my chest and rip into my skin
Ripping through my skin
For days and days it's hard to say it got this bad
You choke on thoughts you buried in your head
And does it make it hard to breathe

The thoughts of me spread like disease
Until you're screaming out my name
You're screaming out my name
Oh-oh, you take what I need to live
You crawl into my chest and rip into my skin
Oh-oh, you take what I need to live
You crawl into my chest and rip into my skin
You're ripping through my skin
You're ripping through my
Open up your veins, love
Open up your veins and drain what you've become
Drain what you've become
Open up your veins, love
Open up your veins and drain what you've become
Drain what you've become
Open up your veins
Open up your veins and drain what you've become
Drain what you've become
Open up your veins
Open up your veins and drain what you've become
Drain what you've become
Oh-oh, you take what I need to live
Oh-oh, you take what I need, what I need
Oh-oh, you take what I need to live
You crawl into my chest and rip into my skin
Ripping through my skin
Open up your veins and drain what you've become
Drain what you've become

Frisia, aka Doug Taylor, creates a melodic blend of electronic instruments with guitar and Native American flute. Sometimes atmospheric and other times dramatic instrumental music.
"Many of the Ambient soundscapes are comparable to the classic Fax "Silence" series by Pete Namlook and Dr. Atmo; save the length of Namlook's compositions ( that oft times exceed 20 minutes), and these creations would certainly be pleasing to fans of these two artists. It does sound as though you have drawn from many a great pioneer within the electro genres, yet made each track Doug Taylor’s.
