This is what you can read on Middx's Myspace: "I started making songs on my laptop in 2003. I was sampling snippets of violin sampled from classical records and playing new riffs with them, and also using a lot of 808 drum sounds, the kind that were being used in Lil Jon records. I've played guitar since i was a kid, so i started experimenting with recording guitar riffs but trying to twist and distort them so that they sounded like a different instrument. Tracks like "Hands Get Dealt" and "Pick Up The Phone" have a lot of guitar in them.
