Born in the quaint village of Milton of Campsie and inspired by the crisp contrast that street culture brings to this rural wool-gathering haven, Stewart Brand's mix of urban hip-hop break beats, futuristic synthlines and traditionalist folk lyrics sometimes overshadows the true meaning of the music: the world's manic depression. Pretentiously penning introductions, poetry and lyrics come second only to taking one deep breath of country-fresh inspiration and diving into a dream world.
