Viral Exogence Lyrics

laying within a body without
a mind, a soul, a will, a doubt
no searching, no seeing, no finding, no being
feelings once felt, a distant dreamkept within a place unknown
bred for blood, you're not your own
injected pain your only sense
physical reactions, their sciencesadistic knowlede, now furthered for
the good of man, god must deplorelistless life, unknown self
experimental malediction
desired truth they now find
authorized atrocity of mankind
viral, exogence, neomortality, the cardinal sin
diseased, inflamed, carcinogenated
bloated, burning, inundated
decrepit, rotting, degenerated
of living death you've createdsyringe prepared to carry forth
the heinous cravings of the cause
trained in medicine to aid the weak

instead their minds diabolically reapsadistic knowledge, now furthered for
the good of man, god mjust deploresigned away, your soul remains
transcending venture, incarcerate
embodied spirit purgatorized
confined in you, anatomical cagemolecules so arranged
pristine structure grossly changed
life support, maintained
to feed the seething, breeding hate
laying within a body without
a mind, a soul, a will, a doubt
no searching, no seeing, no finding, no being
feelings once felt, a distant dream

HELLWITCH arose from the depths in October of 1984. Founding members Patrick Ranieri and Harry Tyler recorded the first demo, a one track venture, in the living room of their apartment in Gainesville, Floridia. The track, "Nosferatu" consisted of Pat on all guitars, and Harry on drums (i.e. a seat cushion and a textbook) and vocals. Pat composed the music and the two of them penned the lyrics. In February 1985 Dave Silverstein and Andy Adcock joined HELLWITCH ranks; Pat took on vocals, Andy became the bassist, and Dave replaced Harry on drums.
