Wait On Time Lyrics

Well, I don't live like a king and I don't drive a big car
The gypsy woman was right when she said I would go far
Just wait on time baby, I'll be there someday
Yeah and until I get there baby, all I can do is hope and prayWell, you say you'll stick with me, baby
Stick with me through thick and thin
I know someday baby, my bad luck has got to end
Just wait on me baby, I'll be there someday
Yeah and until I get there baby, all I can do is hope and prayWell, you say you'll stick with me, baby
Stick with me through thick and thin
I know someday baby, my bad luck has got to end
Just wait on me baby, I'll be there someday
Yeah and until I get there baby, all I can do is hope and prayWell, I live the life I love and I love the life I live
The life I lead baby, is all I have to give
Just wait on me baby, I'll be there someday
Yeah and until I get there baby, all I can do is hope and prayYeah, you just got to wait on time, baby
Yeah, just wait on time now, baby
Yeah, yeah, be good to me baby
Because until I get there baby, all I can do is hope and pray

The Fabulous Thunderbirds are a blues-rock band, formed in 1974. Their original line up included guitarist Jimmie Vaughan, the older brother of the influential electrical blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan. After performing for several years in the Austin, Texas blues scene, they earned a recording contract with Chrysalis Records and later signed to Arista. The first two albums released in 1979 and 1980 (with Keith Ferguson on bass and Mike Buck on drums), did not initially sell well, but are now regarded as successful white blues recordings.
