Wake Me Up Lyrics

You've got a beautiful temper
But it gets the best of you, best of you
But you know your mouth
Is on the edge of a secretAnd you make adjustments for cover
But you want to see it through, see it through
And though you're standing all alone now
It's your faultBut your heart is beating faster
And this isn't what you wantWake me up, you know I can't stand this
I guess I'll find a way, to try to forget it
Get over this, before youYou say thanks for the notion
And even know that this is true, this is true
It's funny how I always hear you say
That you're okayI guess you're keeping in level
I haven't heard from you, heard from you
You're probably living in the past
But it won't last, it won't lastWake me up, you know I can't stand this
I guess I'll find a way, to try to forget it
Get over this, before youUp and run away, this is pathetic

You stand up straight, know you can't help it
Get over this, control yourself
Lost and been walking foreverSomething is wrong
(Something is wrong)
What is this voice inside my head?
How can it be?
(How can it be?)
When all of these things are falling in lineSomething is wrong
(Something is wrong)
What is this voice inside my head?
How can it be?
(How can it be?)
When all of these things are falling in lineSomething is wrong
(Something is wrong)
What is this voice inside my head?
But how can it be?
(How can it be?)
When all of these things are falling in lineWake me up, wake me up
This is inside your mindWake me up, you know I can't stand this
Wake me up, just try to forget it
Get over this, control yourself
Lost and been walking foreverTrust me, you
