Walk of Fame Lyrics

Hollywood boulevard, sunrise over stars
Heels over my shoulder
Ain’t no shame
Watch me do my walk
Been around the block a couple of times
That don’t mean I gotta get wise
Say I’m acting like a child
I’m a little too wild
Lost and found where is my mind
Searching every glass of wine
There ain’t no sense in crying no no
Say she’s crazy
Say she got no brakes
Ohh she wanna get dirty
She’s a walking mistake
So what, I messed it up

I said too much
I pushed my luck
So what I scream to loud
I fooled around, did I let you down?
Hollywood boulevard, sunrise over stars
Heels over my shoulder
Ain’t no shame
Watch me do my walk of fame
Gonna do my walk, gonna do my walk of fame
Gonna do my walk, gonna do my walk of fame
So if I ain’t your style
Put my boots on and walk a mile
I won’t apologize
Aint’ gonna break my stride
Say she’s crazy
Say she got no brakes
Ohh she wanna get dirty
She’s a walking mistake
So what, I messed it up
I said too much
I pushed my luck
So what I scream to loud
I fooled around, did I let you down?
Hollywood boulevard, sunrise over stars
Heels over my shoulder
Ain’t no shame
Watch me do my walk of fame
Gonna do my walk, gonna do my walk of fame
Gonna do my walk, gonna do my walk of fame
Pardon my French but honey Je mon fue
Cos I’m just doing things that we all do
Tired of living in a glass house
I just wanna break out
And be free
So what, I messed it up
I said too much
I pushed my luck
So what I scream to loud
I fooled around, did I let you down?
Hollywood boulevard, sunrise over stars
Heels over my shoulder
Ain’t no shame
Watch me do my walk of fame
Gonna do my walk, gonna do my walk of fame
Gonna do my walk, gonna do my walk of fame

When you first meet Chloe Leighton, it is not hard to imagine her as an artist. With her black hair, white skin and European features, she stands out in a city of jeans and bleach blonde. What is hard to imagine however, is how such a young, soft spoken woman came to posses such a mature and soulful voice.

Chloe is of French and Australian decent and writes songs in both languages. She watched her Father play jazz piano and came to idolize greats like Billie Holliday, Dinah Washington and Etta James. Her childhood was spent in three different continents, which is why she considers herself to have many homes. Her current home being Los Angeles.

Both her voice and appearance posses a sort of timeless beauty and grace. Her songs are, for the most part; songs about love. Yet in a great many of her songs, Chloe seems to have her tongue firmly planted in cheek. Read more on Last.fm.
