Walked the Line Lyrics

Can't remember anything you said
I try to hide in a smile instead
I hope and pray that you are by my side
I'm restless and I can't sleep at night
My mind's weird and I try to keep controlAnd I always walked the line
I guess I did it all the time
It was never good for me
I surrender now I see
Everybody has to choose
How to live without excuse
There's no time to hesitate
'Cause I don't believe in fateI'm on the run, I try to get away
Leave me alone, I don't wanna stay
I can't run, but I can't hide
I can't get no sleep at night
I'm sick and tired, there's nothing I can doAnd I always walked the line
I guess I did it all the time
It was never good for me

I surrender, now I see
Everybody has to choose
How to live without excuse
There's no time to hesitate
'Cause I don't believe in fateAnd I always walked the line
I guess I did it all the time
It was never good for me
I surrender, now I see
Everybody has to choose
How to live without excuse
There's no time to hesitate
'Cause I don't believe in fateNo, I don't believe in fate

1) The German band Chrom was set up in 2007 by Christian Marquis and Thomas Winters. The bass power, impact and energy of EBM are fused with the airy, technoid elements of futurepop and the lush melodies of synthpop to a versatile and compact sound that creates its very own niche in between bands like VNV Nation or Solitary Experiments.

2) Chrom is a New York duo started in 2003 comprised of Chris Kapica on bass and Tom Nasca on guitar. Influences are from jazz, prog rock, alternative rock and classic rock with a reversal of roles - the bass is the lead instrument and improviser in Chrom. Currently inactive.

3) Chrom was a dance-act created by the German producers Marco Lietschko and Christian Sauer. In 1997 they released the "Waveform One E.P.". Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
