Was It You Lyrics

Seems like lately I been missin'
Seems like things just haven't been right.
You've just been weighin' oohh so heavy upon me.
I just can't seem to see the light.
Whoa baby. lately, oooo I get the feelin'
Nothin' around me seems very real. Whoa yeah.
Was it you who said don't ever leave me baby?
Was it you who lit the fire in my heart?
Was it you that I've been missin?'
Or a dream right from the start?
Was it you? Oh baby, Was it you?
I know my friends have been talking about me.
Whoa yeah, They say the pain, in time, will pass.
They told ya Honey, they told ya not to love me.
But now I'm the one that fell for you too fast.
Now I go to pay babe. We have every reason to be happy.

I just can't believe that you're really gone. Whoa yeah.
Was it you who said don't ever leave me baby?
Was it you who lit the fire in my heart?
Was it you that I've been missin?'
Or a dream right from the start?
Was it you? Oh baby, Was it you?
Was it yooooooouuuu?
Aaaahhhhh aaahhhhh
[fade out]
