Watching the Girl Lyrics

Watching the girl straddle the world
Just like the snake that swallows it's tail
You know that I been where I wasn't seen
Kissing temptation under the veilI was alone, walking back home
When she reached out and took hold of me
Shook my sense out, said not to doubt
That we were naked, you can never go homeStill the sirens sing a whale song
Covered up by machinery hum
While we're kept here, separated
And banging on our windowsSaid we were pent up in an accident
Verging on nowhere, oh, we gonna spread
Spreading it wide, breaking inside
With no past to cling to, to turn back the tideThe the screen fall, 'til the heart stalls
Let your chain out, keep your control
While we're kept here, insatiated
By the needs we've fabricatedStill the sirens sing a whale song
Covered up by machinery hum
While we're kept here, domesticated

And banging on our windows
