We Are Water Lyrics

My friend, my friend, you are traveling
Some of your secrets are unraveling
Ooh, some other pictures are coming into view
I see the water washing over youThe water's speaking now, it speaks to me
I hear it talking to me, sometimes when it rains
Telling me the story of joy and pain
But I've got no regrets, I've got no shame'Cause we are water, we flow and flow
I feel you pour through every inch of my soul
And I really must tell you this before you go
We are water, we flow and flowI am a river, I got plenty of time
Don't know where I'm going, just following the lines
There's just no telling where this river will flow
I've got no choice in the matter, I'm just going where it goes'Cause I made my bed tonight under this cloud
Sometimes the lightning's so frightening,
Sometimes the thunder's so loud
Still, I know the tide is kissing my heels
Sometimes, I'm thinking I'm drowning in all these things I feel'Cause we are water, we flow and flow
I feel you pour through every inch of my soul

And I really must tell you this before you go
We are water, we flow and flowI walked the beach today, but I did not find
One single footstep we had left behind
So, I went swimming in the deepest sea
And I could feel that water all over me'Cause we are water, we flow and flow
I feel you pour through every inch of my soul
And I really must tell you this before you go
We are water, we are water
We are water, we are water
We are water, we are water
We are water, we flow and flowWe flow and flow

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Shaye was a Canadian pop group, consisting of singer-songwriters Kim Stockwood, Damhnait Doyle and Tara MacLean. MacLean left the group in 2007 and the band folded by 2009. Stockwood returned to a solo career, while Doyle has formed a new band The Heartbroken which features three of the former members of Shaye's band. Their name was a tribute to Tara Maclean's sister Shaye Martirano who died on May 24, 2002, as the result of injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident earlier that day on the Trans-Canada Highway in St. Leonard, she was aged 26.
