We Used To Know Lyrics

Whenever I get to feel this way
Hard to find new words to say
I think about the bad old days
We used to knowNights of winter turn me cold
Fears of dying and getting old
We ran the race and the race was won
By running slowlyCould be soon when I cease to sound
Slowly upstairs, faster down
Ah, then to revisit stony grounds
We used to knowRemembering mornings, shillings spared
It made no sense to leave the bed
Oh, the bad old days, they came and went
Ha, giving way to fruitful years

There are two artists called The Tidbits. 1. The Tidbits were made up of the brother and sister duo of Nancy Ogilvie and James Ogilvie. Hailing from the small town of Erin, Ontario. In 1993, they began making music together and playing shows as the Tidbits of Geldwen, taking their name from a building company logo which adorned a trucker-cap worn by James at each of their shows. In 1994, the duo self-released their first and only cassette: a six-song demo recorded with Rob McLean at the University of Guelph.
