Weapon Lyrics

Here by my side; an angel,
here by my side; the devil.
never turn your back on me,
never turn your back on me, again.
here by my side, it's heaven.
Here by my side, you are, destruction.
here by my side, a new color to paint the world
never turn your back on it,
never turn your back on it, again.
here by my side, its heaven.
Be careful,
be careful,
be careful,
be careful.
this is where the world drops off,
this is where the world drops off.
be careful,

be careful.
And you breathe in,
and you breathe out, for it.
ain't it so weird,
how it makes you a weapon.
and you give in,
and you give out, for it.
ain't it so weird,
how it makes you a weapon.
never turn your back on it,
never turn your back on it,
again...
Be careful,
be careful.
Here by my side, its heaven,
here by my side, its heaven.
here by my side...

Every Last Word takes the stage in Denver, CO as a four piece rock/alternative/punk group made up of ex-members from Suburban Hostage, Dr. Neptune and NoComply. After playing a lot of shows and being involved in the scene for 5 years the band is quickly becoming well recognized this time around and well respected among the slew of local talent that Denver has to offer. The newly redesigned lineup of ELW is the best of each of the member’s previous bands. Even though the band practices in a basement in the suburbs you would never be able to tell when you see what they bring to the stage. The energy and intensity of the music sets them far apart from many sophomoric bands who often settle for predictable song structure and mundane lyrical content. ELW started in the beginning of 2005 during a huge blizzard. The band plugged in for the first time at a practice space in Denver before bringing on the new bass player. There was only one song idea at that point and soon after came the set list used at all the shows and all over the Internet. After the new bass player, Scott, joined things really got serious and the musical style was developed without holding back on any of the talent that each member brought to the table. Some of the influences on the band include Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, The Used, Rise Against, Strung Out, Underoath, The Lawrence Arms, A Wilhelm Scream, Alkaline Trio, Silverstein, Stretch Armstrong, and Thrice. In the future ELW plans on being a part of the Warped Tour and traveling across the U.S. supporting a new album and gaining a huge fan base. The band prides themselves on always communicating with everyone at every show at being friends with all of the great people in the scene and the bands and venues and promoters as well. Keep your eyes and ears open for Every Last Word because they’re not disappearing anytime soon!
