Weave Me the Sunshine Lyrics

Weave, weave, weave me the sunshine
Out of the falling rain
Weave me the hope of a new tomorrow
And fill my cup again, sing it with meWeave, weave, weave me the sunshine
Out of the falling rain, out of the falling
Weave me the hope of a new tomorrow
And fill my cup again, again nowWeave, weave, weave me the sunshine
Out of the falling rain, out of the falling
Weave me the hope of a new tomorrow
And fill my cup againThey say that the tree of love
Will shine on me again
Grows on the bank of the river of suffering
Shine on me againWeave, weave, weave me the sunshine
Out of the falling rain, out of the falling
Weave me the hope of a new tomorrow
And fill my cup again, sing it againWeave, weave, weave me the sunshine
Out of the falling rain, out of the falling
Weave me the hope of a new tomorrow

And fill my cup againIf only I could heal your sorrow
Shine on me again
I'd help you to find your new tomorrow
Shine on me again nowWeave, weave, weave me the sunshine
Out of the falling rain, out of the falling
Weave me the hope of a new tomorrow
And fill my cup again, little louder nowWeave, weave, weave me the sunshine
Out of the falling rain, out of the falling
Weave me the hope of a new tomorrow
And fill my cup againWell I've seen the still and the concrete crumble
Shine on me again
The proud and the mighty all are stumbled
Shine on me again nowWeave, weave, weave me the sunshine
Out of the falling rain, out of the falling
Weave me the hope of a new tomorrow
And fill my cup again, let me hear you sing it nowWeave, weave, weave me the sunshine
Out of the falling rain, out of the falling
Weave me the hope of a new tomorrow
And fill my cup againOnly you can find that mountain
Out of the falling rain, out of the falling
If you want to drink at the golden fountain
Shine on me again, sing it outWeave, weave, weave me the sunshine
Out of the falling rain, out of the falling
Weave me the hope of a new tomorrow
And fill my cup againWeave, weave, weave me the sunshine
Out of the falling rain, out of the falling
Weave me the hope of a new tomorrow
And fill my cup again, sing it loud, sing it nowWeave, weave, weave me the sunshine
Out of the falling rain, out of the falling
Weave me the hope of a new tomorrow

The trio Peter, Paul and Mary (often PP&M) is an American musical group that was one of the most successful folk-singing groups of the 1960s. The trio comprises Peter Yarrow, Noel Paul Stookey, and Mary Travers. The group was created by manager Albert Grossman, who sought to create a folk "supergroup" by bringing together "a tall blonde (Travers), a funny guy (Stookey), and a good looking guy (Yarrow)." He launched the group in 1961, booking them into the Bitter End, a coffee house in New York City's Greenwich Village that was a favorite place to hear folk artists.
