What Happens In Vegas (follows You Home) Lyrics

I never really liked this place
Hard to tell the nights from days
Lost inside a smoky maze with no last call
You walked up, I turned around
You were drinkin' something watered down
Maybe I don't hate this town after all
Could Sin City save us? Could Lady Luck wave us
On through the velvet rope?
The whispers in my ear said, "Everything stays here"
But we know something they don't
Sometimes what happens in Vegas
Follows you home, follows you home
It's just a state of mind
And crossin' that Nevada line
I thought I'd never find my wildest dream
I almost had to live without
Now neon lights are washin' out
Any shadow of a doubt and I believe

Sin City saved us, Lady Luck waved us
On through the velvet rope
The whispers in my ear said, "Everything stays here"
But we know something they don't
Sometimes what happens in Vegas
Follows you home, follows you home
Follows you home, follows you home
Among the false promises, glitter and phoniness
Somehow we've found the real thing
Sin City saved us, Lady Luck waved us
On through the velvet rope
The whispers in my ear said, "Everything stays here"
But we know something they don't
Sometimes what happens in Vegas
Sometimes what happens in Vegas
Follows you home, follows you home
