Whatever You Became Lyrics

Whatever you became
Blame it on my fame
I'm aways away from you
Sold my life for a song
Whatever you killed
The blood got on my face
See it took over you
And your minds nearly goneAnd I can't change my ways
Sorry it's my fault
I wasn't there to see
Whatever you became
Whatever you becameWhatever you became
You blame it on blind faith
I can't turn away from you
What's my life if your gone
Whatever you feel
I take it on my stage
I sing to the world for you

And I'm always aloneAnd I can't change my ways
Sorry it's my fault
I wasn't there to see
Whatever you became
Whatever you becameI can see it all
You're so far away
I can't take this anymore
I can't live until I see your faceI can see it all
You're so far away
I can't take this anymore
I can't live until I see your faceAnd I can't change my ways
Sorry it's my fault
I wasn't there to see
(Sorry it's my, sorry it's my)
And I can't change my ways
(And I can't change)
Sorry it's my fault
I wasn't there to see
Whatever you became
Whatever you becameWhatever you became
(Somethings gone away)
(You've taken this from me)
Whatever you became
(Until I see your face)
(And I'm slipping away)

Cold are from Jacksonville, Florida, USA. With the release of their self-titled debut, "Cold," in 1998, the band quickly became known for its angsty lyrics and the singer's distinctive voice. "Cold" has obvious touches of grunge, but on the following album, "13 Ways to Bleed on Stage," Cold changed towards a more ambivalent, and in some ways, alternative hard rock with slightly calmer, angst inspired songs.
