What's Your Name? Lyrics

Ey girl, ey, ey
Ey girl, ey, ey
Eh, eh, ey girl
What’s your name? Baby what’s your number?
’Cause girl you got me, got a brother wondering
If you want a homie and a lover
I can be your friend till the end
Girl, wassup?
I’m going crazy
Ey girl, wassup?
’Cause I wanna know if I can love ya
Yo, girl wassup?
Yo, won’t ya be my lady, ah?
Yeah girl, wassup?
I wanna know who you are
What’s your name?
I wanna know who you are
What’s your name?

I wanna know who you are and make you a star
Girl, I’m giving you everything ‘cause my love is yours
What’s your name and number
Damn, your double deed is making Willie mumble, yo
Jilie jolies, I’ma rock ya till like we get down
What you’re digit? Put it in my phone
Hit me when you’re all alone
You could call on me we'll flirt with technology girl
Now girl, wassup?
I’m going crazy
Now girl, wassup?
I wanna know if I can love ya
Girl wassup?
Won’t ya be my lady ah?
Yeah, girl wassup?
I wanna know who you are
What’s your name?
I wanna know who you are
What’s your name?
I wanna know who you are and make you a star
Girl, I’m giving you everything ‘cause my love is yours
What’s your name? Yeah baby what’s your number?
’Cause girl you got me, got a brother wondering
If you want a homie and a lover
I can be you friend till the end
Would it, should it be a problem
If I holla,

The Patty Duke Syndrome is perhaps the most written-about trio whose only official output amounts to one side of a 7". But there is more. In a 2003 Spin exposé dubbed "Who the Fuck is Ryan Adams?" James Barber, Geffen Records A&R guy-turned-record producer, said: "In every interview you read with Ryan, he talks about growing up on hardcore and Black Flag and punk rock. It's like, 'Where's that in your music?'" Ask former Patty Duke Syndrome drummer Brian Walsby or perhaps the ghost of Jere McIlwean, the late bass player of that legendary, oft whispered-of trio and you might find the answer.
