When It's Cool - Kainer

Kainer is a Producer from Wigan, UK. Formerly known as Il Diablo, he has had previous releases both as a solo artist and as one half of production duo Dub Frequency alongside Jay Robinson. He achieved his first solo release as Il Diablo on Ultra Records with his remix of ‘Tokyo Pollution’ by Tommie Sunshine. He also accomplished success with his first single signed to Wearhouse Music, the single ‘Bunk’ which has been played on BBC Radio 1 as has his single ‘When It’s Cool’ played on DJ Annie Nightingale’s BBC Radio 1 dance show.

He has officially remixed for renowned dance outfit Major Lazer their single Keep It Goin’ Louder ft. Nina Sky and Rikki Blaze. His last remix was for his production partner Jay Robinson on Wearhouse Music, the single Light It which has been supported by Annie Nightingale and AC Slater.

As one half of production duo Dub Frequency, Kainer has gained growing support from established artists such as Moby, Fake Blood, Hervé and Sinden. Two of Dub Frequency’s EPs have been released on Cheap Thrills, Joshua ‘Herve’ Harvey’s label. The ‘Whoop! Whoop!’ EP was reviewed in ‘DJ Magazine’ scoring 8/10 and received several plays on BBC Radio 1 and the B-side ‘Guy Brutus’ was charted in ‘International DJ Magazine’ by Leeroy Thornhill of the Prodigy and the second EP ‘Felton Skank’ was supported by High Contrast.

Kainer achieved the above in little over a year whilst DJ’ing in Spain, after relocating back to the UK and taking a break from the studio he is now back producing and louder than ever!
