When Someone Stops Loving You Lyrics

Still gotta walk into a crowded room
with the radio on.
Crack a smile and crack a beer like it don't bother you
like it ain't your song, that's on.Still gotta cross the bridge to get to work
the one by her place.
Make it through the 9 to 5 like you don't hurt
it goes that way. When someone stops loving you
it don't make the evening news,
it don't keep the sun from rising,
the clock from winding,
your heart from beating,
even when you want it to.
When someone stops loving you.Still gotta button up your collared shirt
the one she used to button down.
Sleep on the mattress where her body left a curve
or maybe just the couch.Still gotta keep her number in your phone
in case she calls back.
One night when she's drunk and all alone.

Yeah, you pray for that. When someone stops loving you
it don't make the evening news,
It don't keep the sun from rising,
the clock from winding,
your heart from beating,
even when you want it to.
When someone stops loving youThere hardest part about it is
there ain't a switch that you can flip
'cause you can't stop loving them. When someone stops loving you,
when someone stops loving you
it don't keep the sun from rising,
the clock from winding,
your heart from beating,
even when you want it to.
When someone stops loving you,
when someone stops loving you,
when someone stops loving you.

Little Big Town is an American country music band.

Formed in 1999, the band has four members: Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook and Phillip Sweet. There is no lead singer in the band; instead, they trade lead vocal duties as well as rely on the harmonies of the four members.

Little Big Town's self-titled 2002 debut for Sony's Monument Records was panned critically and did not sell commercially. The album had only one minor hit single, "Don't Waste My Time," and it wasn't long before Little Big Town was dropped from the label.

Little Big Town resurfaced on the Equity Music Group label (formed by country singer Clint Black), and on October 4, 2005, released their second album, The Road to Here. The new album was well-received critically, and spawned the smash hit single "Boondocks." Three further singles were released from the album, including the Top 5 hit "Bring It on Home." One track, ": Bones," was directed at Sony. Speaking with Songfacts about the song in a 2011 interview, Little Big Town's Phillip Sweet said: "There was a little bit of attitude from us to the label. But it wasn't like there was one particular person. It was more of like the big, bad label that won't let you be yourself, you know what I mean? (laughing) We were just saying 'this is who we are,' and then we eventually got dropped. And we were able to take that music and come out with it on an independent label."

Their second album with the Equity label, A Place to Land, was released in 2007. Although, not long after its release, the label folded. Little Big Town then re-released the album a year later via Capitol Nashville. Two of the album's singles were minor Top 40 hits.

In 2010, the group returned with "Little White Church," the lead-off to their fourth studio album, The Reason Why, which was released on August 24, 2010.

The Pontoon Songfacts reports in 2012, the group returned with "Pontoon," the lead-off to their fifth studio album. The song was released to Country radio on April 30, 2012.
