When Two Spirits Touch (feat. Tony McPhee) Lyrics

(Dickie Peterson)
Yaayy-ow!
Oooh yeah!When two spirits touch
When they meet enough
Gotta take the time to let it last
But if you ever do find
If you ain't got the time
You oughta take the time to let it pass
Oh! let it pass!Believe I'll take my coat
Strap it across my back
Jump on East to become with the night
'Cause baby, it's time.Believe I'll take my leave
Honey, if you please
Well I jump on East to become with them right
'Cause baby, goodbye.(Goodbye baby, whoa, ooh yeah, whew, tell you what I'm gonna do baby, sing it Dickie!)Believe I'll take my coat
Strap it across my back
Jump on East to become with the night
'Cause baby, it's time.Believe I'll take my leave

Honey, if you please
Well I'll jump on East to become with them right
'Cause baby, goodbye.(Say goodbye baby, whew!)When two spirits touch
When they meet enough
Gotta take the time to let it last
But if you ever do find
If you ain't got the time
I hope you take the time to let it pass
I hope you take the time to let it pass
You oughta take the time to let it pass.(Whooo ha yah, woo-oo ha, yeh, ye-ye yeh! Yeh!)

Blue Cheer is an American blues rock group of the late 1960s and early 1970s, who helped to pioneer heavy metal music. Based in San Francisco, original personnel were singer/bassist Dickie Peterson, guitarist Leigh Stephens, and drummer Paul Whaley. A power trio, the band was named after a variety of LSD promoted by underground chemist and Grateful Dead backer Owsley Stanley. This variety of LSD took its name from a popular laundry detergent. Their first hit was a cover version of Eddie Cochran's "Summertime Blues" from their debut album Vincebus Eruptum (1968).
