When You Like Me Lyrics

You got every right right now to be ticked off
I wanna make it all alright at any cost
Right now between you shaking off that sass
Should we take a break is that too much to ask?Baby just love me like you loved me when you liked me
Pretend you don't wanna cut me off to spite me
I'm so turned on another way you wanna fight me
So baby love me like you loved me when you liked meSomething bout your hand there on your head
And your finger pointing biting on your lip
You're a different kind of hotter when your face is red
It kinda makes me wanna find a bed
Baby just love me like you loved me when you liked me
Pretend you don't want cut me off to spite me
I'm so turned on another way you wanna fight me
So baby love me like you loved me when you liked mePretend I ain't done nothing wrong
Pretend I hung the moon
Girl if your shoe was on the other foot
I'd do the same for you
Baby just love me like you loved me when you liked me

Pretend you don't wanna cut me off to spite me
I'm so turned on another way you wanna fight me
So baby love me like you loved me
Love me like you want me
Love me like you loved me when you liked meOh, when you liked me

The Missouri-born Chris Janson has electrified Nashville's country music scene. In fact, it only took two days at a local Nashville bar to incite a wave of interest from country music's biggest record labels. It could be his intense and vocally stunning performances, his remarkable ability to play the harmonica, or the depth of his songs, but there is something remarkable about this 21 year-old phenomenon. Chris' budding music career has even taken him to the big screen, when legendary film director Johnathan Demme (Silence of the Lambs, Philadelphia, Stop Making Sense) invited him to participate in "Heart of Gold" a documentary capturing Neil Young's 2-night performance at the Historic Ryman Auditorium. Asked to describe his sound, Chris replies that it combines "elements of rock & roll, folk, blues, roots music, and vintage country." Nashville's critics been buzzing with excitement about this emerging star, and have even likened him to a combination of Mick Jagger and Hank Williams Sr. Chris readily acknowledges his influences, but he has a confidence in his identity that transcends his age. "I want to sound like Chris Janson," he says, "It's just what you see on stage, that's what you'll get on my record. I'm not afraid to push the limits. I don't have a set list at my shows, I just play songs. It's all about soul and feel". And as all great country music stars and rock & roll legends are marked by their authenticity and originality, Chris Janson is on that same path toward greatness. Read more on Last.fm.
