When the Sun Goes Down In Ga Lyrics

Fell in love at a glance
should've known Id never have a chance
to be with you in the long run
You have a plan I am not in
You're going to move up north to live again whenever school is over
So I have to let you go
But before you leave me here
there is something you really should know
When the sun goes down in Georgia
I'll be drifting back in time wishing love could have changed your mind
When the moonlight shines through the pine trees
I'll get lost in memories dreaming you are here with me
Oh its sad but true Im just your love sick fool
So when the sun goes down in Georgia, oh i'll be missing you
I Bet you never had clue,
but i'd do anything to be with you

I'd leave this place in a heart beat
I'd move away from my sweet home
just to be your faithful tag along
I'd follow you forever
But if your better left alone
i'll do my best to understand, still my love will linger on
Cause when the sun goes down in Georgia
I'll be drifting back in time wishing love could' ve changed your mind
when the moonlight shines through the pine trees
I'll get lost in memories dreaming you are here with me
Oh its sad but true, im just your love sick fool
So when the sun goes down in Georgia, oh i'll be missing you
Oh its sad but true
Im just your love sick fool
so when the sun goes down in Georgia
I'll be missing you
I'll be missing you

For Corey Smith, one of the best things about making music has always been getting the chance to hang out and have a good time with his friends. And it’s still that way, nearly 10 years after his early days of playing the bars around Athens, Georgia. The big difference now? Well, it seems these days Corey just has a lot more friends to hang with. The crowds at his sold-out live performances frequently number in the thousands—quite a change from the times when he never dreamed of much beyond playing for a handful of his college buddies.
