Where Does the Time Go? Lyrics

Oh, what a time
What a warm an wondrous time
So sweet a shinning moment
In the sunOh, what a time
Was there ever such a time
Then suddenly it's done
The moment passesWhere, where does the time go
Must we let it end
Where, where does the time go
Gone to soon my friendAnd where, where go the echo's
Of our laughter ringing the air
Oh, wherever the time goes
I will see you thereMust we let it endAnd where, where go the echo's
Of our laughter ringing the air
Oh, wherever the time goes
I will see you there
I will see you there

Several well-known entertainers have given Manilow their "stamp of approval," including Sinatra, who was quoted in the 1970s regarding Manilow, "He's next." In 1988, Bob Dylan stopped Manilow at a party, hugged him and said, "Don't stop what you're doing, man. We're all inspired by you."

As well as producing and arranging albums for other artists, such as Bette Midler and Dionne Warwick, Manilow has written songs for musicals, films, and commercials.
