Where Have All Your Good Words Gone Lyrics

Where have you all your good words gone?
Where have all your stories gone?
Where are all the pleasures from
The timbre of your tongue?I dreamed I had a gift for
Holding up the sky
I dreamed I had a gift for
Holding up your sky
And I dreamed I had a way with
Words of consolationDo you wish you were an honest man?
Do you wish you were a better man?Where have all your good words gone?
Where have all your mercies gone?
Oh when did all your bones start to bend?
Do you wish you were an honest man?
Do you wish you were a better man?
