Johnny Marks (1909-1985) was an American songwriter, best known for writing Christmas songs, including "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer", "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree", "Run Run Rudolph", "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" and "A Holly Jolly Christmas." He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1981. 2. Johnny Marks is a UK Country music artist who has released over a dozen albums.
