White Lines Lyrics

I've been waiting
Waiting for someone to call
My body's aching
'Cause someone came and stole my soul
Everyday's like yesterday
And yesterday's like everyday
And everyday's like yesterday
And yesterday's like everyday
And I'm still waiting
Waiting for my love to call
All the things I wanna say
Are in my head, there's no mistake
This is not the right time
This is not the right time
Waiting for the light to come
I sit and watch the candle burn
Following the white lines
Following the white lines

I've been searching
Searching every place I know
Trying to work out
If Jesus came and stole my soul
Everyday's like yesterday
And yesterday's like everyday
And everyday's like yesterday
And yesterday's like everyday
'Cause I'm still waiting
Waiting for my love to call
All the things I wanna say
Are in my head, there's no mistake
This is not the right time
This is not the right time
Waiting for the light to come
I sit and watch the candle burn
Following the white lines
Following the white lines
Everyday's like yesterday
And yesterday's like everyday
I'm waiting for my love to call
And Jesus come and take her soul
All the things I wanna say
Are in my head, there's no mistake
This is not the right time
This is not the right time
Waiting for the light to come
I sit and watch the candle burn
Following the white lines
Following the white lines
All the things I wanna say
Are in my head, there's no mistake
This is not the right time
This is not the right time

Lovvers are a strange mix of music’s forgotten / blank generation, re-calling the spirit of Darby Crashes’ Germs, the weirdness of Flipper, Wipers style pop and the careless attitude of The Replacements. They formed in 2005 and went down for good in 2010 Having been written about or featured in most major magazines, it appears the select few have largely missed the point of Lovvers. Maybe it’s because they have no idea of their context or the idea of this music isn’t anything they’ve experience directly? Instead they continue to focus on the bands stunning good looks and hair colour...
